This is not my animal story as much as my mothers. She tells of a story of her first dog. She said that, shortly after she had me, her dog Sally was diagnosed with cancer. Sally was 13 years old and had arthritis, was losing her bowels, and much of her muscle functions. My mother had the choice of putting her down or operating to take out the cancer. My mother chose to put her down. She said as she sat in the waiting room she was crying and feeling intensely guilty. She wondered whether it was the right thing to do. She worried that she was only putting Sally down because it would be to much to take care of the dog and me, plus my two brothers. As she sat there though she suddenly had a vision of Sally. My mother said she suddenly felt at peace and that Sally came to her as if a young dog playing and said, "Don't cry for me. I'm free. I'm free." My mother always tells me this story after I lose a pet to let me know that they are free of pain and happy.

For 2 months I lived and worked in Cyprus.
When I came back, the first thing I did was go to my hometown and visit my cat. She acted kinda strange, but that's cause I've been away for 2 months. After a while she softened up and I plaied with him and so on, though I never fed him cause he was fat from mice and rats already. (We had a serious rats problem back then)
I stayd there for a night. Everything was fine.
As I came back from my hometown to my second home, my mother told me that my cat had died a week after I left to Cyprus. Got hit by a car.

When I was a little boy my family and I lived above a mortuary in which my father managed. One day I was working with my father in the garage where we, okay, he was building a ramp that would lead into a staging area for the preparation room. While I was pounding nails into a scrap piece of wood my father was pouring cement. I noticed two cats (not sure what type), which seem to have appeared out of nowhere run across the garage floor, being a typical obnoxious little boy I through my hammer at them. The two cats ran to the wall where my father was working and as the hammer strike the wall the two felines ran through it. Trying to explain this to my father was a feet in its self. A few days latter my father spoke to the owned of the mortuary regarding the previous family that lived there. It seems that they had cats and that in fact that two of them did disappear and were found dead in one of the exterior walls. Even though this happened a long time ago this experience is something that I will never forget, perhaps because this was my first experience with the spirits but by far not the last.

Serena showed up one day started giving her milk, meat and things cats love.We live in the mountains, so for her being a stray she must be toughened. But none the less something got to her, I was outside pulling weeds and tidying the garden, when i saw'll her sprit run by, I had been wondering about her. I often see her run by outside here and there, she stays away from the house as to not disturb the living dogs i presume.

I lost my dog Spike a few years ago. He was the most amazing dog. We brought him from the USA when we moved to Australia when i was 11. We had to have him put down just after Christmas when he was 10. The day after we had him put down i was packing up his toys because it was too hard for my mum to see them. I placed 3 of his tennis balls on the table and one fell to the floor when i turned my back. I picked up the ball and wedged all 3 back up on the table and turned around to continue cleaning and the same ball fell to the floor again. I immediately broke down in tears coz i knew it was my Spikey telling me he was still there.

The week after he passed a few other things happened in the house. He used to sleep in my room, and when he would lay down he used to thump against the side of my bed. Well the 2nd night after his passing I felt the thump against the side of my bed followed by his famous groan. And over the next few nights we would hear him walking up the hallway checking on us. I don't hear him anymore, but i know he still watches over my mum.

About 10 years ago was the very first time I ever experienced a visit from a pet that passed. I had a little gray and white kitten named Sam. He was my best friend, he followed me every where like a dog would have. I remember he always slept with me and if i even took a bath he would be right there by myside. Then one evening my friend and I was walking home from the gas station and my sister was outside with Sam, well Sam seen and heard me and he took off running to come and greet me. Some rude cruel person hit Sam with a car, I seen this person intentionally swerve to hit him, right in front me. I ran over to him, and held him until he left the Earth. I was a mess, it was like my whole world ended that day. A few days later I was sitting at the dining room table eating ceral before school, I was looking outside out of our glass siding doors, and I turned back to look outside, and there was Sam, He was taking his lil paw like he was pawing at the glass to come in, and I done a double look and he was gone. i think he was letting me know he was ok, and he was telling me bye.. To this day I will never forget about that, Or Sam, I still miss him.

I found this web site doing a search on animals that have crossed, only to be "seen" again. I start my story about my cat, Charlie. He was only with us for 2 short years, and in those years, having seen many vets, had many procedures, and still no cure, as they really didnt know what was wrong. It was on Feb 23rd,2009, that it was decided that it was time to let my baby go.So on that sad day, my Charlie crossed, and left this world. It would take me a month to walk back in vets office to get his records, and then to discover that in his records, plainly stated, my cat was ok, and no distress noted. This was the ONLY reason I based my decision to let him go.
Now I get to my story, this past Monday 6-8-09, I was sleeping, waiting for my alarm to go off at 5:30am, I always hit the snooze once, and I did, then at 6am, the alarm buzzing away, I woke, reached over to hit snooze and turn off alarm, and look at the time. I had over slept, so as I was turning back over to get ready to get up, I looked down at the bottom of my bed, and low and behold, there was my cat Charlie sitting there, right on my bed. I knew what I was seeing, and as fast as I was trying to process this, poof, he was gone. This past Mon marked 14 weeks since he left this world. I was afraid to tell anyone, fearing they might call the men in the white coats aka nut house, but I know what I saw or what I thought I saw. A feeling of peace came over me that day, a feeling I have not felt in 14 weeks. Being that I was having such a hard time with his death, and my decision being based on deception, I feel he came to me to say, "Im ok, and right here". If you are reading this, I would love to see if there are others that have seen their animals after death. Thank you for being here, and allowing me to write our story, and my venting.

Yes you can see pets after they pass.
My cat Charlotte just passed a couple of weeks ago andI hear her mewing around the house quite often.

She also liked to sit on the microwave oven and since she passed I can hear her jumping off the Microwave.

Pets live on in the after life just as people do and they can all come back and visit us.
Your cat may sleep on your bed at night with you and he finally decided to let you see him and tell you he is still visits you.

The day my grandma's cat died he was crying his head off.I went to college,left him food.He was crying when i left.I came home,couldn't find him anywhere.I finally found him wrapped up in a blanket,looking all lifeless.He had his face pressed against the carpet of my floor.He was bit up and had yellow puss sacks in him.I later found out this huge spider bit him.This sucker was so hairy and the size of a tranchaula.I believe it was.I found out he was bit by a widow as well.I tried everything from gentle cpr.To staying with him and praying he would live.He died but 2 days after we got rid of the smelly body.A ghost cat his color came on my bed and started crying and quaking his head off.I saw him on me.He use to sleep on my chest all night and purr his head off.That is what this ghost cat did.He pawed at my mouth and covered it with his paw.This ghost was in tears it had me in tears.I realize now he was just trying to protect me from this spider.I had to kill the spider for hurting him so bad.It was dragging it's broken legs,climbing on my bedroom wall it was climbing so it could land on my bed and bite me.I always thank him and miss him cause of how heroic he was.I still hear meowing on my bed.Just a few days ago i heard a cat meowing and crying.He was scratching my new bed to jump up.He always use to do that.I felt him scratch my foot then i heard a jump up sound.I felt him jump over my legs back and forth.The meowing got louder.Then i heard him jump off.I guess that is his way of saying hi and goodbye to me.I have taken pictures in my room and saw a yellow cat's face in mid air.I hope he comes back again i really miss him.

The 24 of july 2009 it was around 6pm I was stooped down,trying to get jasmine to come to me,she was just out of reach.We were in the kitchen.
I saw a light kinda round or oval and it was so fast I wondered if I was really seeing it ,first I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye moving by me ,as I was looking it came along side me nice and slow next to my feet very low on the floor,then as if it just saw jasmine it darted in frount of me between me and jasmine.Jasmine saw it and pounced at it,you could see though it,she was trying to grab it with her paws It was just their for awhile 15 seconds are more .I think it was My sweet Buttons that passed oner 5 months ago,checking on me and she saw jasmine and was checking her out.
It disapeared right under her little paw.
Could it of been Buttons my westie that died in March 2009

Something in bedroom under the bed.

Bill was sure smething was under the bed bumping around.
the dogs were put up.
Sam with mom in her room with closed door,and jasmine in her play pin and bed for the nite.

Bill was so sure about something being under the bed that he took a hanger a pushed it around the head broard and under the bed.

He said something big is under the bed.
Big as in small dog,not a mouse.

I also thought I heard a dog walking around in the room a few nites before this.
