Thank you John and Trace for posting these pictures. I want to use this section of the forum, so that the experts can post pictures of fake anomalies..fake everything to show the other members on how to identify the difference between fake or real.
Thanks you for your contributions
I am also starting other threads in this section on other things such as fake ecto, fake supercharged energy...etc.
If you have any more pictures that you can add to the threads...I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks
Nice experiments! ;) Now, we just have to educate people to take their cameras off of "night mode" so there are no false light bars, etc.
Here is an explanation of what the night mode setting does:
"Typically night mode will set the camera to use flash with a long
shutter time - slow shutter sync. This allows background scenes to
show through, but does mean that photos taken in this mode should be
done using a tripod to avoid blurring of the background."
From my experience, the slightest movement of the camera body while
taking night mode shots will produce blurry photos with light
anomalies. The light from the flash, as well as other lights and
reflective surfaces within the frame will often cause streaks, rods
and the orange haze due to the shutter being open longer. It's a
similar effect to if you lengthen the time the shutter is open and
have somebody walk through the frame; you will receive a lengthened
exposure and the person will look like a ghostly "blur."
Thank you LC for your input on this...I want to kind of educate the community on being able to identify the difference and to know what to look for...all examples and input is welcome.
