Angels & Ghosts Updates! March 2009

Spring is here for many of us!

As mentioned in my last letter, I am currently writing a book concerning spirituality versus religion. The writing will cover historical origins of the Bible and Christianity in general, as well as detail some of my experiences in and out of fundamentalist Christianity. It is my hope to explore and expose the areas of fear and fallacy, so others may comprehend a higher message of spiritual truth. This is something that is desperately needed by so many, though they may not know it. My future book projects will eventually harmonize spirituality and the paranormal. This first book has been a struggle, with re-writes, grammar, etc. I am on the third and final re-write of my rough draft, so perhaps I may still be on schedule to publish the book by the end of this month.

New articles that may be found on Angels & Ghosts deal with various subjects. In Evil Spirits, I seek to give more understanding to negative entities that some may deem as being evil. The article should help give enlightenment to the condition of the mind of such spirits.

Forum moderator, TKay, has been a great asset to help Kathy and I with the Angels & Ghosts Message Board. She recently suggested looking at Infrared digital cameras, and so an article ensued about the exciting possibilities of creating your own Ghosts Camera. You'll enjoy the ideas of how you may be able to construct your own camera with better vision to possibly capture ghosts in photographs.

Recently, I received a couple submissions to post regarding spirit rescue. Spirit rescue is a term for simply helping ghosts cross to the light, essentially moving on and beyond the earthly realm. Be sure and listen to Steve from Piedmont Paranormal Research as he works to help ghosts cross to the light by way of a ghost box. In his video, you can hear both ghosts and spirits communicating with him and each other. It is our opinion that the spirits are trying to help the lost people (ghosts) move on in their life-journey. A fine spiritual lady by the name of Marlene has written me recently, and submitted two stories of her personal experiences with ghosts. One of her stories is about a spirit rescue she attempted on her own while staying at a friend's home. You'll enjoy reading her Ghost Rescue Story.

I'd like to comment about the ghost camera. I tried using the film negative as a lens cap before, everything turned out purple. I probably didn't have the right type of film negative. To find out if your camera will work on this, turn you camera on and use any remote control to point at the camera. If you see the infrared lights on the remote while looking through your camera, you have to right type of camera to work for the ghost camera.

I didn't half to open the camera up. I made the lens cap filter. It took me awhile to find the video of how it was done. Here it is:

That's cool, Joe. Guess we have to check our cameras like the video says.

The problem with many of the cameras is that they have the infrared spectrum filtered in order to produce better color images from the visible light spectrum. For example, my camera cannot see in dark environments using IR lights. I want a camera that can photograph in pitch-black by using IR lighting which is invisible to the human eye. :C)

Night vision glasses, now this is do'able and inexpensive. Before I hit the grave yards this summer, I'd like to make a pair of these glasses. One trip to radio shack ought to do it. Can't take pictures of what you see, but ought to be fun to walk around in the dark like a zombie :-)

I'm not sure about locally though. If you had access to your high school drama class, it'd be laying around everywhere.
I have some 3-d glasses I'm going to use.

I found that my digital camera can pick up on infrared light, a canon powershot a560. and I was thinking how about instead of the infrared lights mounted on the glasses, can a infrared flash light or flood light be made? I got the led out of an old remote control and used it to replace the led in a mini mag light, it worked but was too low powered to be of any real use, or at least I could see it brightly thru my camera's display when it faced the lens but it was not powerful enough or the camera is not sensitive enough to pick up infrared light being reflected from objects more than a few inches away. still though it made for a fun night of science experiments lol. what I'm going to try next is to see if I can find a more powerful infrared led that I can use in the mag light and maybe try one of those led head lamps. also I have seen flashlights that have a bunch of leds instead of a single bulb and they work really well with the visible spectrum, maybe that might work just as well in the infrared spectrum. my next experiment will be with those glasses. now the "gels" that I know of are what my buddy in the stage lighting business used to put in front of spot lights and flood lights to give off different colors. are these the same thing? or something different like filters for cameras?
