An exclusive investigation

Had to let you know we have access to a location here in Clarksburg, that NO ONE else has had,,or ever will have,, we are set to investigate the "Harry Powers Murder Farm".. I had posted info on the murders last year I think it was,.,,,Harry Powers murdered 5 people in 1931 in an old garage he built with a torture/gas chamber under it,,,,he killed two women and three children and buried them in a ditch along side the garage.He was hung at the WV Pen March 18 1932.
The owners of the property have turned down many offers of TV and books on the murder property,,since we know someone who knows them,, we got the access.
Just wanted to share the excitement lol.

Permalink Reply by Polly EVP SPECIALIST on November 11, 2009 at 8:40am: Thx for support guys..hoping this will be a great investigation,,TKay... we are planning to start on Nov 20/21..weather permitting,,it is def an outdoor investigation,, of course the old garage is long gone,,but there should be some old landmarks we can go by ,such as the old well and chimney that were near the garage..Im sure the owner has something for us. We are planning on making our own DVD of the history and our investigation ,,we may try to sell it,,at least locally. to raise $ for our group to buy equipment . Everyone here in Clarksburg is starved for info on this farm,,so we're hoping we can pull this together. One of our members teaches Broadcasting,,has access to high end cameras and good editing resources.. it should go well.

Permalink Reply by Polly EVP SPECIALIST on November 16, 2009 at 9:15am: Hey guys,, we did a pre-lim invest on Saturday from 2-5 before I had to go to Moundsville for the monthly ghost hunt. We spent most of the 3 hrs locating and pinpointing the "as near to exact " location of where the garage Harry built sat. We have all info available -maps, hand drawn sketch of scene at the time the bodies were found,,also, the owners gr father was at the scene at the time of unearthing the bodies..we also used the original old photos in a book I have on the subject,,we lined up everything and measured,,and lo and behold,,we pinned it down within 5-10 ft of where the owners had previously did their research - the owner was not at home until just after we had reached our conclusion of the area we marked as the spot.. which is unbelivable in relation to the owners now existing home..just 10-15 ft off the corner of their home in their backyard!. We are video documenting everything...
We also used for our first time..a ghost box hack,, we were amazed at how this worked! Wont tell you all we heard yet..but the name Harry came through the box radio 4 times..once with out even asking a Q..lol.. also remember one of the victims was a 12 yr old boy named Harry. AND the victims never new Harry Powers as Harry Powers,,they knew him as the alias Cornelius Pierson.
We are going tonight at 9 to start an investigation...hoping it doesnt get too cold - low is supposed to be 40* ..the owners say they have had some strange activity happening..
Trace... sure wishing we could borrow your spirit John tonight! Next investigation should be this coming Sat night too. After that,,investigations will prob be on weather permitting basis..and prob pick it up in early spring..hoping for a mild winter here ,,but unlikely LOL; ▶ Reply to This
