This has got to be one of the best commercials I've ever seen! I don't like vodka...but I do now :-) To think they filtered it through diamonds is amazing. Let me know if this is inappropriate to post here and I'll delete it. Just had to show someone this skull bottle. Listen to Dan Aykroyd's story too. Amazing!! http://www.crystalheadvodka.com/
Hummm...lemonade, kinda like a tom collins, huh? Sounds good. Yeah, the only thing we had to drink in the house was milk, dr pepper, or gatorade. I'll have to get some lemonade for my next go-around. Thanks.

Jane, I got some frozen lemonade concentrate for round two this Sat. :-)
Seraphim, I haven't drunk vodka in 20+ years, so I really don't have the palette to do comparisons. But, mixed very strong, it went down very smooth. I mainly got it for the skull bottle and for such a creative commercial they put together. My 1st drink was straight at room temperature, it did have a slight sweet vanilla after taste. It is a cool keep sake item. I just had to open it to try it out. I told my 15yr old son that I'm going to buy another one and when he turns 21, we're going to get skull faced. (together, at home, & I'm hiding the car keys)
I can't wait til tomorrow to get mine - I will mainly get it for the skull as well.
I can't believe we missed when Dan Ackroyd was here in June signing autographs. My daughter had State special olympics so we were down in Trenton.
I found some recipes that sound good
Citrus Vodka Iced Tea
Shake 1 ½ oz. Vodka with 2 oz. citrus iced tea, 1 tsp of lime juice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime slice.
Cranberry Grapefruit Freeze
Fill a highball glass with ice. Add 1 ½ oz. Vodka, 3 oz. cranberry juice, 2 oz. grapefruit juice and 1 tsp. grenadine, 1 tsp of lime juice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Tree Frog
1 part vodka
1 part Maui® Blue Hawaiian schnapps
2 parts grapefruit juice
1 tsp lime or lemon juice
ice cubes
just found this web site [was looking for something else and stumbled on it] which tells quite a bit about the 13 crystal skulls. did not read it all - but it might be of interest.
Too cool. Thanks Jane. Looks very informational. I'll have to read more later.
I strongly believe that in a past life, I must of lost my head. Cause I've always had a infatuation with skulls. In 7th grade I made a skull paper mache in art class. The teacher gave me an A++ on it. It had real cow teeth in it, later after I took it home, I added deer antlers to it. I do have 1 photo of it. My sister took my picture after we got back from a carnival, and it was in the background. I'll have to dig it out, crop me out of it, :-) and post it.
Thanks for the vodka mixed drinks recipes. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks :-)
