ghost box, the new Ouija board?

I have heard many times that people can open doors or attract negative spirits when using a Ouija board and when using a ghost box or hack box aren't you pretty much doing the same thing? to me it just seems pretty risky to be taking anything you hear thru such means as being truthful but I will admit that I have much more fear than most of you when it comes to dealing with spirits or ghosts, I am trying to change that. I wonder if a group of people could use the combined methods of the Ouija board and random frequency scanning to communicate with the other side by all together turning a tuning knob or something like that. maybe someone that is sensitive could alone use this method of manually tuning the radio to communicate. also I am very curious about the Ouija board itself and would like to use it in a few different places I have seen things and had previous paranormal experiences but I don't want to do something wrong or possible dangerous so if any one has useful info or opinions I would love to hear them. thanks all

You may get many different answers on this one. I, myself have used the board many times, without any repercussions. People who use it, do use a prayer of protection prior to using it. Only thing I always worry about is the person I am using it with, meaning you have to trust that person is not moving the planchette, to give false readings. For me, asking questions to get evps, using a ghost box and using the board, are all forms of communicating with the spirits, therefore I see no difference. I have never tried to record and use the board at the same time, but I think I will try it. I just have to buy a new board, because my daughter-in-law and son, did not like having the board in the house and it just disappeared one day! I do expect you will get different opinions on this.

I think its differerent because wiht a ouja or a seance, you are linking your auras and providing a spirit which a united stronger energy to draw upon.It is intentionally designed for this, to assist spirit to come through. Somebody acts as a medium whether they are aware of this or not.

Using a recorder is different because even though you are interacting with spirit, you place a recorder away from you normally and sometimes it is even left on its own in a room.

I dont see them as working the same way.

The amount of energy for a spirit to manifest in a seance or to move a planchetter is quite a lot. If this was drawn from one single person alone, it could be very taxing on them and make them very dizzy.

I prefer to look at the Ouija and other forms of spirit communication this way: what one produces, he or she will experience.

For example, if we have fear while dealing with people in the physical world, we will be more prone to allow others to control us, abuse us, deceive us, trick us, lie to us, etc. Not all people are negative in such a way, but there are those who willingly look for victims to prey upon. Don't allow yourself to be a victim by choosing to be powerless. Choose to be in power, and thus in control. We have the ability to walk away, to say "No," to overcome difficult situations. Life is a series of choices, and we teach others how to treat us. Don't succumb to fear.

Now apply this same idea to disembodied people, ghosts. Whatever method of ghost investigation, or spirit communication we endeavor in, negative spirits of people are more likely to be attracted to those who can be manipulated. They do not want someone who's willing to get in their space, and call them out for their actions.

I do wish to share that ghost investigators need to be free from fear, otherwise one's fears will become realized sooner or later. If we fear something, the fear (whatever it is) will not go away unless it is faced. Practice being strong with people in-bodies; master that. Then apply the same principles to the disembodied.

Hi Ben,
I just wanted to say if your going to use one of those be very careful because its no joke they really can be dangerous.If you ever get the chance to see the movie Witchboard please do.It's not a true story but it gives a pretty good idea of what can go wrong even though its a real old movie(1980's).I knew someone that had a bad experience and it got so bad she had to go to a mental institution .I was going to perform an exorcism but it was worked out just in time.If your into finding evidence of the paranormal maybe just a camera and tape recorder for e.v.p.s there better proof anyways alot of people dont consider ouija board sound proof so.Idk if that helps any but i hope it does.Good Luck-Jolene B.
