I cannot get onto a PI team for anything. I have been to training sessions, am an advanced Psychic. I even offered to back up the "real" Psychics. I am so sad I want to cry. I offered to back up next weekend---refused again.
I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with this. Don't give up, though. If nothing else, you could do investigations on your own, or maybe even get your own team together.
My advice here would be not to tell them you are psychic when you trying to become involved in a paranormal team. I would leave that out altogether until you are in the team and then gradually bring it out.
Trace is right. There are many teams out there that do not like using psychics. May be you could get your own team together or just keep your abilities to yourself for awhile. I know I just repeated what Canis and Trace said but just want you to know that I agree with them. I wish you luck.
Now is that PI for Private Investigator or Paranormal Investigator? I think you should try becoming a PPI- Private Paranormal Investigator.
If you were more out my way...I let you hook up with my group.
I have a psychic in my group...and I prefer it that way.
Hey Wonda,
Have you thought about making your own PI team? I think that it would be a good idea. That way you could have people you already know and trust. Just an idea. I think it will work out well for you.
What? to start your own paranormal group? no legal stuff involved...All it bascially boils down to...if you are to get hurt...say for instance investigating a old building...you can't sue the owners if you fall and get hurt. It's kind of like..."enter at your own risk".
But it's always wise to have a disclosure form handy just in case...for all parties involved.
Grab a camera or two...the more the merrier...a digital voice recorder...and have at it.
Oh...make darn good and sure that the members you take on in your group don't want to fizzle out later. Half of my group...they found better things to do and never really joined us...then they moved out of state. So now I have 5 members and that's all I need. If you get too many...then they become bored.
It's like they expect to see ghosts dancing all over the place everytime we go out. Which there are going to be days when you get absolutely nothing...then other times..it's a madhouse.
But be picky about your members...screen each one of them...get some background info...etc.
PI or PPI. Whichever you choose or are comfortable with would be backed up 110% by the members here. From my understanding & reading the post of the PI’s of the A&G… It’s a lot of hard work, dedication, time & at your own expense. If you’re able to help the community, skeptics & the spirit who remain I say GO FOR IT! At the psychic point of view, assess, evaluate & prepare the area & self before entering it. It’ll cause excitement for all involved. LOL! Good luck.
Yeah I agree, too many in a group and it loses its touch. You get too many people on an investigation, you find it hard to account for people at times and too much noise. We have 5 in our group
