My name is Britney and I am 22 years old. I found this site when I started looking for answers for what has been happening to me for as long as I remember. It is very hard for me to tell people this so I'm just going to do it anyway. I started having dreams that would actually happen. Almost like deja fu, but a lot stronger when I was about 6 years old. As I got older the dreams got more real and when I woke up I could remember more about them. Well all this finally leads up to me actually predicted deaths of family and friends or major events. I knew about 911 3 days before it happened. At first I tried to tell people about it but my family didn't believe me. My grandmother even took me to "talk to someone". So these days I tell no one until my 6 year old son told me he was having dreams that came to real life. That's his exact words he used. So now I'm telling you guys. I hope someone can give me some answers or just someone to talk to about things since I can't talk to my family. Does anybody know the name for what I am?
It seems to me you could be some sort of Psychic, not to sure what kind, but a very good one I must add. What exactly did you see before 9/11 happened? Did you see the towers actually falling? I would love to hear some of your stories. You can leave me a message here, or on my page.
The dream I had before 9/11 was really strange. In my dream I was in New York walking down the street near the towers. There was a bunch of people all around me speaking a language I didn't understand. Then all of a sudden I'm on an airplane. Again a bunch of people around me speaking the same language. Then I hear an explosion and right after that I feel myself burning and I'm screaming then I was in the streets by the towers again just like before when I ended up on the plane. This time when I'm in the streets I don't hear the weird language I hear sirens. Then one of the tower's just crumbles to the ground. Then I woke up. I didn't know what the dream meant until after 9/11 and all the information came out. I've had a bunch of dreams happen like this. It's like the dream only gives me pieces of what's going to happen. I usually don't know what they mean until after it happens.
Clairvoyance, Premonition, Precognition, Intuition Premonition etc…. I would agree that you have the gift of sight. But a name for you? Normal – On the other hand, those who seem NOT to have this gift (or refuse to acknowledge or accept it) maybe considered to be….abnormal. LOL!
I would say psychic for sure. That must have been hard for you for
your family not to believe you. Your son seems to have the same
sort of abilities that you have.

Delete HI Britney. My 13y old does this frequently and he always tells me about it every time because I have encouraged him to do so. He says he dreams something that usually happens the next day or next couple of days. One time I was in the garden and he came running out. My mother had just come over to visit and left. He told me that he was in the rumpus room watching tv and my mother went past the window, put her hands up to her eyes, peered in and squashed her nose against the glass to pull a face at him. He told me that when he saw this he got goosebumps because the night before he had dreamt my mother doing this and he said she was wearing exactly the ame clothes which was an unusual poncho I had bought her and I am not even sure my son had seen this poncho before.
I feel that it is some sort of precognitive dream in a way and maybe he has some ability that is coming to light now at around puberty. This often happens. He is very interested in this also.
I have always spoken openly about this with him because he has shown an interst in it and he knows that I too have had this.
I would suggest that as soon as your child is old enough , find a way to explain to him that he is lucky to be able to experience this and encourage him and not make it seem daunting. Read up on it more and then explain it to him in terms that he will understand.
Thanks everybody it's really great to have some nice people to talk to about it. I'm glad I found this site. This is the most comfortable I've been in a long time. I actually feel normal. It's a really great feeling to have. Thanks again everybody.
