My mother has just 'fessed that she saw a ghost in her room 2 weeks ago

This morning my mother rings me and says," I want to tell you something that I havent told anyone so dont tell anyone else will you"

My mother is 78 and lives alone in her house but her partner of 9 yrs lives across the road in his own house. She hasnt even told him.

She said about 2 weeks ago she woke suddenly for no reason at 2.30am to find a man leaning over her bed. She said she saw him and then hid under the blankets lol. She hid because she said it was like a shadowy outline of a man and she could see through him. She said she looked long enough to see that he was an older man. She said at first she thought it was her eyes but she tells me she knows he was there and she saw this.

I asked her to describe what she saw and she is really scared lol. She doesnt like talking about it. She said that it wasnt misty or white, he was an outline that you coudl see through and she could see he was an older man and then she got scared and hid under the blankets. She doesnt even know why she woke up but she said he was leaning over the bed.

I trust my mother on what she is telling me here. I asked was she dreaming and she said no she was wide awake and it frightened her.She only saw him for a couple of seconds and she ducked under the blankets and was too scared to look again.

You see, the supernatural scares my mother. She has listened to my evp and they frightened her. The only other thing she has had happen was back in 1977 when her mother died. 3 days after her mothers death, she woke one night to the feeling of someone stroking her arm and soothing her. It woke her up. She thinks that was her mother but she is still scared of that.

I have told mum that I will come over and check this out with my stuff but she said "no, I wont want to sleep in this house"
Little does she know that I am coming over next weekend and will send her across to her partners house to stay the night. If i get anything, I just wont tell her lol.

My mothers and her partner have an elderly friend Jack whom they visit often in a nursing home. My mother took on his little dog when he went in there and so they go and take the dog to visit him. I hope she didnt bring a nursing home resident back with her lol. I never mentioned that of cours

She asked you not to tell anyone. lol! I do hope that you’ll be able to find out who he is & why he’s there. But most importantly, if he has no ties or relations to her then by all means ask him to get out of her house. Hopefully John could help. I’ll send prayers to your mum.

Trace - fascinating - can't wait to find out what you find. I think she woke up just because he was leaning over her - I had a similar experience in about 1984 or so and I woke right up and was very startled to see the old man's face so close to mine. on a subconscious level I think we are aware someone is there staring at us.
can't wait to hear what you learn and so glad you shared it with us.

I am with your mother - I do not like to listen to EVPS they give me the creeps and I would have dove under the covers myself - like I did back in 1984.

Anything is possible however when I had paranormals to my house they found a high reading of EMF near the head of my grandson's bed they told me that this can cause the person sleeping near to such high levels eg clocks, radios electic bar plug ins to see what they think is a ghost however my grandson saw ghosts when he was 2 years old and at that time there were no clocks,phones or electric bars in his room. Anyway I have recorded voices of spirits in his room and the paranormals picked up voices as well. I do beleive your mother saw a ghost and it could very well be Jack! Result from checking out my mothers house..........nothing , nothing and nothing lol
No high levels of em energy in the bed as I lay there with the meter.

No evp, no spikes, no audible activity and nothign in photos, not even an orb. Well at least she is doing a good job with her dusting lol

She is still unnerved about this though and has stayed the week at her partners across the road. Think that is an excuse though lolllllllllllll

It must feel wonderful to know your mum has witnessed a ghost for herself, too. It's frustrating not to have others share our beliefs - especially family. Great story, Trace! :C)
