New Ghostly image in the Sleepy Hollow cemetery 2009 visit last week

Hi all - Happy Halloween.....

I got another awesome shot folks - this one is amazing - at least I think so.

My daughters and I go to Sleepy Hollow around Halloween time each year now. This is our third year. We went last Sunday Oct 25th. We were in the cemetery around sunset twilight time which is not the best for photos due to the weird lighting - but I do think I got a few photos. This photo is my first post to share with you and get your thoughts.

I will post a small version of it and its crops in the text, plus attach the original.

This photo I actually took with the flash by accident. I liked the way the branch turned out - not knowing that the photo itself beyond does have an amazing face by a grave in the background.

the face and hair look alot like George Washington, which is the style of the late 1700s and there are alot of people buried there from this long ago.

Hello Jane... I had a tough time with these pics. I was sensing some activity within them,but because of the grainiess of the shots I had a hard time with trying to determine what was possibly paranormal or not.. I don't feel like that one area is actually a 'face'...I'm thinking that this is matrixing/pareidolia?? I do believe that you have a possible orb to the right of this though.

Hi Sharon - thanks for looking.

since most people dismiss orbs these days, I did not even point them out. and the orbs in the photo are very dull and not as distinct as the face.

I am surprised you would think the face is matrixing - matrixing of what? what exactly would be in front of the grave to look so clearly like a face? in any case - I can not go back there to check now unless we decide to take a day trip up there - I am willing to do that - but I do not really know what it could be causing such a "matrix" phenomenon. I mean - if it was in the midst of a pile of stones or leaves or bushes or trees I could see it being matrixing.

however I did ask for opinions, and yours is certainly your opinion and you could be right, how do I know? LOL. I just thought it was clear and stands out compared to everything else. but that of course is MY opinion. LOL again.

I have other interesting photos from Sleepy Hollow I will post another night. am curious still to hear other people's thoughts on this one.

Hello Jane.. Sorry,i should have used the term 'pareidolia' only.. I could very well be wrong about this. Sometimes i look at a pic and don't see anything in it,go back and WAMO..how in the world could i ever have missed this..lol.

I believe it is matrixing Jane, but I sure love the color of the picture!
