I noticed how terrified everyone was in the theatre...I guess I would be the only one there saying how cool it is.

Everything that could happen in an entity attack happened to this couple. (Well all most everything).
This reminded me of the movie “The Entity’. I love knowing that people are willing to purchase theater tickets to see these types of movies. It can’t be ignored…. No more hush-hush – let’s not talk about it. With that said.. The more it is exposed the less people will be afraid to face it & be rid of their fear/'s. Permalink Reply by Tkay - Moderator on September 19, 2009 at 2:09pm: These are the types of movies that do put more fear into people, so when you go to see it you have to realize it is an exaggeration of events, if they did not elaborate on the event it would not be so scary. Here is some more information on it. Seraphim I thought of the entity when seeing it also. I would like to watch it for the entertainment.

It's sad that they had to remake it...they should have just left it in it's original status.

Permalink Reply by Caniswalensis on September 21, 2009 at 11:03am: I have heard nothing but good about this film. The writer/director filmed it in his own home for under a thousand dollars, which is pretty amazing.

One critic called it the scariest film ever. That is a pretty tall order to fill! I can't wait for it to be released on DVD.

One good thing about the remake is that it will be the same guy directing, so it should be the same, but with higher production quality. I don't know if a remake is really neccesary, but I like the idea of this guy who is not a part of the movie industry making something great all on his own, and then enjoying commercial success and mainstream acceptance for his talent.

I love scary movies...the worse they are...the better.

I'm the kind of person that likes blood and guts...not to say that in a weird way...but I can sit through any show of CSI Las Vegas while eating dinner and not get sick when they show open bodies, blood and organs.
I can walk through a cemetery at night all by myself.

It just takes a lot to scare me...like I use to crack up when the guys from Taps would get all spooked out when they ran into a spider...I'd be the one playing with the spider.

This movie I am really looking forward to...I just hope that when the movie comes to Bakersfield and in one of the larger theaters...there's not a terrible out break of swine flu...now that scares me! LOL I just don't feel like becoming sick. There have already been 10 deaths in Bakersfield due to this illness. Oh well...I do have surgical masks to wear that I bought.; ▶ Reply to This

but what can you expect for 15 to 16 grand budget. It was completely repetative and boring, sorry to say,,its definately NOT for those seriously into the paranormal. its more of a thrill seekers movie,,and still you'd have to do a lot of seeking to get thrilled LOL; ▶ Reply to This

There were a couple of times during the movie when i got startled because i didn't expect what came up. I watched the movie as i would review a tape of an investigation so watching the movie that way it wasnt really scary.But i have to say the boyfriend caused it all when he bought the Ouiji (sorry for the spelling)board in to the house...; ▶ Reply to This
