Please help me compile a list of...

I'd like to compile a list of common ghost phenomena, both obvious, like footsteps or moving objects, and subtle like movement in your peripheral vision or a feeling of dread.

Please help me by listing the phenomena / symptoms you have noticed or had reported for both haunted houses and possession/obsession of people.

35] stuffed animal with voice activated device that speaks when light hits it - put away in a dark closet and keeps speaking. remove the battery and it still speaks, especially in the middle of the night.
36] books with the push sound effects going off by themselves when nothing is touching them or pushing the tabs down

Ok...now for my input.

I was trying to do this earlier...but got sidetracked by my friends showing up here at my house.

I am going to take this time to reply to this, as I feel compelled to answer David, as I seek the answers.

I have a friend that does Remote Viewing, and I would say he's really good as he tried this on me from just a phone conversation. But as far as getting rid of ghosts by via telephone...he can't do that.


"People come to me to solve a problem... a house won't sell or their child has a monster in the closet. A business won't grow. They became ill when they moved into a new house. If, when my work is done, their problem is gone then it's confirmation"

I feel it's impossible to rid any dwelling 100% free of any ghosts/spirits. They might leave for a short period of time, but they will be back. I can cleanse my house till I am blue in the face, even feel no presense what so ever...and before I know it...I have high traffic once again. Ghosts wonder where ever they feel like it, you have to also understand...they are in another demension...not ours, so sometimes they have no sense of where they are. It's impossible to rid any dwelling completely....it just doesn't happen. If you can guarantee your work and back it up 100%, not just by your track record, but do you actually check back on your clients to see how things are going? This line of work just cannot be guaranteed.

"You pay your car mechanic and your doctor, right? Is this work less valuable?"

Yes we pay for a mechanic, but they also guarantee their work, they back up their services. Doctors also...are a very important part of our life to keep our health, but they to also are licensed and are professionals. Many years of study and schooling to become what they do. Paranormal researchers and anyone else that deals in our field of work is NOT licensed or professionals. There is no such thing as a licensed psychic, or a degree in what we do...so how can we charge a fee?

Demons are referred to in my book as just nasty spirits/ghosts, I talk about this all the time about how nasty do you think Hitler would be as a ghost? Demons are what religious leaders have led us to believe over the years, and it's time to stop thinking that way and realize that we are just dealing with a angry spirit. I have been attack by ghosts...they have just enough energy to pick me up and push me across the floor, but I don't label them as a demon. I have been doing this type of work for many years...I have met all types of ghosts...good and bad, but none of them were something I couldn't handle. But am I a professional with a degree? No...I am just the average person with one simple quest...to send them onto the light in the best way I know how. Do I charge for my services? Never...not once have I ever charged one dime for what I do. A simple hot cup of coffee for my time.

I have experiences like Jane's and more to count..but I don't feel like listing all of them, as would take me forever and a day.
My question to you is this...if you are the professional that you state you are...why are you asking us to conpile a list of spiritual encounters? You should know the answers to that without having to ask us. Of course if you have been doing this for so long, as you claim you have...then you should know everything there is to a haunting and more.

Now I am going to get straight to the point...here is why I am not seeing this as eye to eye with you.

Charging for any type of service such as what we do..is uncalled for. For people like you who prey on other people fear is also uncalled for. Hit people in their pocket books when they are scared to death of a ghost is wrong in my book. We are not professionals...we do not have licenses, degrees, masters, nothing that is in writing that says...we are the pros. Doctors and Mechanics get paid..because they ARE pros, they paid good money for that piece of paper that states they are a licensed professional...period.
Tell me this...do you see any type of classes at any college that is either...Paranormal Investigator, psychic/medium, Remote Viewer, or any other classification...that deals with this field? No..we don't. Because if there was..I'd be signing up tomorrow.
We can't become licensed...or even insured...or that piece of paper that can back up what we know or do. It just doesn't happen.
I was given a gift...came with a near death experience when I was 16, the ability to speak with and hear the dead. I flatlined on the table and was declared dead for 15 minutes. During that time, I seen things that was shown to me about life beyond the physical world. I was given the option of continuing with my journey to the light...or to come back to earth. I wanted earth and to finish out my life.
I cannot explain to you why I was given this gift...maybe it's the higher power that wanted me to have it to help others and even spirits who are earthbound. Do I charge for my services...no. Want to know why? Because it was given to me as a gift...I didn't buy it or go to school for it...this gift was given to me. So there for...I return the favor by giving my gift to others. That higher power gave me my life back...what more could I ask for. How could I take the money from people who wanted to hear from their deceased loved ones? I couldn't.
I basically use common sense here and place myself in their shoes...how would I feel if this happen to me?

Anyone who wants to charge for a service...that has no professional status, with no license, no degree...shouldn't even be in the field if that's all they are after...preying on people fear in the paranormal field.

When people buy a home...they need to use common sense...if they feel a uneasy feeling about the house...then march on down to the Hall of Records and research the house before considering on buying it. If the house happens to be new...and they are not use of the land the house sits on, then go research the land. But you cannot 100% guarantee that the house or dwelling will be 100% spirit/ghost free...it just doesn't happen. People have been dying since the beginning of time...can you just imagine how many earthbounds that is? You would have to set up shop in someones house just to rid the place of the ones that come and go.
You cannot guarantee anyone that you can completely close that portal/vortex...you can't see it..so how do you know it's closed? You can sense it and feel it...but you can see it.
I have portals in my house...how do I know...because I have pin pointed the two areas that contain the most activity. I also study portals...as I have experiments going right as we speak and learning all about the portal. Are they closed in my house? No...I wouldn't be able to research them if I closed them. I have placed protection around the portals to slow the pathway down, so my house is not so active.

Here at A&G, we don't believe in charging for our services...we are here as friends and family who all share one common goal...paranormal. We are here to help people in need, not asking for one single dime for our time. If the person needs assistance with a cleansing..we find someone in their area that will do it for no charge. That's the way we want to keep it..and we like it that way. It's called...The gift

I just ask you this...please don't ask any of my family/members if they need help with a cleansing, and then charge a fee to any one of my family here...I just don't like it.
Also here at A&G, we also don't allow third party advertisments, so that you can make money off our website when our boss pays for it. That is not allowed.

I hope you see the light and understand where I am coming from. But if you were as true to your word about your cleansings and helping people..then you find it in the goodness of your heart to give your services to those in need just because you care.
I'd rather go down the street and flip bugers at Burger King for money before I would charge anyone a dime for a cleansing.
Look on our website...there are so many different things you can use to cleanse your home without having to pay anyone for anything, and we are happy with that.

We have gone through this before with people charging money because people are living in fear. We all know not to show fear but those who do not understand as we do, well it is a hard thing for them to do. Playing on that fear to receive money just disgusts me.

Jane, she is one that has much compassion for people and for anyone to offer her a part in this type of activity, I know she would say no.

As Kat mentioned about remote viewing, yes I believe that can be done, but one can not clear a house in that manner. If you can do that, you need your own TV show.

We try our best here and spend many hours trying to help people, and we do it for free. If we can not help them, we try our best to help them find someone who can, either by contacting a group in their area or by searching the internet, and providing the links they need.

Demons, well we have gone through this many of times, and my beliefs are the same as Kat's. The mention of demons has instilled fear into people since who knows when. They are a tool used in the bible and they are a tool now, to create fear. It was used to control people for many years, be a good person or you will go to hell and in the meantime you will be haunted by demons, now it has become a tool for people to instill fear to make money.

hi,, I dont know if this counts or not but we have had something strange in our house happen, i actually came to this board seeking answers. About every 6 months this happens. I have seen it about 3 times and up until last week hubby never believed me until he finally seen it with his own eyes. Its like a little pin point light on the wall or ceiling that moves very slowly..its very bright similat to a white laser then it grows in size to about a golf ball then explodes into a brilliant light that fills the room. no sound or smell..in an instant its gone. hubby is ver scientific minded and has torn the room apart to try and explain it..we have ruled out ball lightening and static electricity,,we just dont have a clue.

I talked to a friend of mine who has years of experience in the paranormal. She asked if you have a smell associated with this bright light. This is what she said:

"I believe it is spirit energy. And I believe that someone in that house has conjured up something and it reappears looking for them every six months. Things like that do happen on anniversaries.

It's unusual for it to continue for more than a few months though. It is also unusual that it leaves no smell behind. Because even Angelic energy leaves a crackling lightning smell, they are pure energy and all energy creates a spark and so a chemical reaction.

they should be smelling the same type of smell that sparklers create as they burn out."

Interesting. I had not heard of that specific one, but smells are not uncommon.

In my experience some people are more sensitive in specific ways and some people will have no sensory experience in the same circumstances.

That angelic 'smell' may be a metallic taste for another person or a body sensation for another. Both of which I HAVE experienced.

In addition, some places amplify the personal experience and/or make it easier for the entity to affect the living. There are places were apparitions are common and look very solid and 'real.' Is it the energy of the place itself, that the place attracts ghosts that want to manifest or does it attract ghosts that have the skill and energy to manifest? Lots of questions, no solid answers I know of.

The art of deciphering between the physical realm, the quantum realm, the astral realm & the ethereal realm is seemingly a difficult process. Each world has it’s own & different effect on each individual. In turn would produce various reactions and/or results.

On the other hand, Psychic Attacks and Dark Negative Energies resulting from the attacks, Psychokinesis or perhaps Telekinesis could also indicate poltergeist presence.

Back to Ghost Phenomenon:
1) Medical reports of physical & psychological changes occurring when in the presence of ghost.
2) Distress or contentment when prayer, holy water, sea salt, candle lit flames, chanting or meditation is involved.

I have never heard that one. I do recall a church in Barberton OH, a small neighborhood
church. Suddenly the picture of the Mother MI bushes around. Since I lived there I went
down and when I pulled into the parking lot I could smell the roses. Inside they had incased
the picture in glass because so many people wanted to collect the tears.
I also think some spirits will identify themselves by a certain cologne. Not all spirits are
bad, some are friends, family or past life entities. Wow interesting

Wow I am 78 years old and have that many years of spirits, I don't call them ghosts,
and some I have seen others heard and/or both. So here goes with some of them. I
don't know if you are just researching or just want to know.
My lady in red was around me a lot--she kept taking all my red clothing---then she took
my dyed red table cloth, I yelled at her to bring them back, she put all of them on the
laundry basket except a red night gown which I never got back. She would take other
things as well or move them. She would also bring me things. Sometimes even money.
She was a lady that came out west with me in the 1800's we had a very hard life then.
She did not come with me to AZ nor MT. I only saw her once and she appeared to me
in a gold lama dress. I took that to indicate that she had evolved.
I bought a house with my mother, a two family house. Every night this infant baby would
cry and cry. I got so upset that the mother would not get up and take care of her. Then
when my mother moved into her side of the house she also heard this baby crying, this
was some months later, it clearly was a few week old baby by the sound. She began to
question the neighbors and learned there was only one child in the immediate neighborhood
and that was the girl next door that was around 9 years old. She made my dad go through
the crawl space and the attic looking for this baby (bones) as she was sure a baby had
died in the house. He found nothing. The crying stopped suddenly about a year later.
I have not seen Elvis nor Michael but I can tell you they keep me a wake nights, past couple
nights. Their energy is so strong. I think the connection is Lisa Marie that was married to
Michael for a couple years.I keep seeing a vision of their faces and hearing their music. I
really love Elvis but not too much into Michael, it is just the energy. I did see Captain Eo at
Disneyland few years ago. The 3 d movie he made. I see that being replayed at Disneyland
in the near future.
From some of the posts it would seem you are having trouble with ghosts, just tell them they
have to leave.. If they won't then try blessing and cleaning your home by burning sage. You can
use the leaf or smudge and a large feather is good in spreading the smoke, be sure to get the
corners of the room. I can send some other things if you want. Some are powerful.
I continually see shadows from the corner of my eye. But then I have seen spirit all my life
so I am used to it

I want to thank you and the others on this thread for sharing your experiences.

I don't have a 'problem' with ghosts but my approach is different. My 'job' is to get them to cross over and go home. In my experience most ghosts don't know they are dead. The are lost and confused and, yes, you can kick them out, bu that does not get them home.

Sounds like you have had a rich experience with 'spirits'
