Possesion, Scitzophrenia or a haunting of some sort? Need Advise!

Oh my goodness ok so i have a very close freind who aperantly has been keeping some scary things secret and finally told me this morning. She's a very down to earth person very religious and faithfull and a mother of 4 and in her late 30's, this morning she tells me she's been hearing voices telling her conflicting things sometimes their nice and sometimes they are disgustingly mean she says she has been touched on the arm and has had her head ripped back by something she couldnt see or touch this thing has told her it intends to rape her and make her harm her children as well as she believes it has manifested itsself infront of her twice in the shape of a form but it was all foggy like and it attempted to touch her, she is due to be baptized in december and she says it all started when she set her date to be baptized she has never befor in her life experienced anything like this and is starting to think she may be scitzophrenic but has seen a doctor who has told her she is not due to the fact that she knows it cant be real, it is not just in her home she saw it once in our church and hears it and feels it everywere she goes...any thoughts because i am at a loss i can not for the life of me figure out what i can do or say to help her it's just so bizzare she's about to comit herself and give up her kids out of fear that she is not sane or safe.

What is described sounds like negative ghost activity - so that's one possibility. Ghost attachment is another. Psychosis is another, etc...

Her journey to healing, no matter what the cause, needs to begin with the alleviation of her fear. Fear is what empowers each of the possible scenarios. Remove the power and then you are able to get to the bottom of it. :C); ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by earthsong on November 11, 2009 at 10:01am: I just need to add one more thing. Look in her eyes. The eyes can tell you if someone is having a break down. At least in my experience. If there is a void, a hollowness in the eyes then I would learn toward mental illness. There is no missing the blank look you get when you look into the eyes. Permalink Reply by Misty Godfrey on November 12, 2009 at 2:17pm: A little update on details and information about this situation recently she has cut all her hair off to her ears she had hair to the middle of her back when i asked her why she had done that because she imediatly told me she hated it she said they had told her that if she cut her hair off did not wear make up and didnt get her nails done that good things would happen for her, now her self esteem has gone from awsome to embarased of the way she looks. she can no longer sleep they are keeping her up at all hours of the night every night "yelling at her" and "touching her" or making her "feel things", they are now angry with her and are trying to keep her from telling me about them during a recent conversation with her i notced her struggling to conversate with me and she let me know that they were talking over me as to make it difficult for her to hear me or discuss the matter i did not hear anything at all i think i may go buy a recorder and see if she will let me try do do some evp work at night when she says they bother her the most although i know nothing about evp work just that you need a recorder...; ▶ Reply to This
