I hate asking anyone to pray for me as I don't want to be selfish...and I am not. But this is one time I need any prayer I can get.
Travis and I had one really bad day as it started with having to drive to Bakersfield for a doctors appointment for him. Turns out that he not only has clogged arteries, but he also found out his heart isn't working right. Then the doctor ordered xrays because he might have cancer in his lungs. They also increased his blood pressure meds and also his insulin shots to 28cc everyday.
Well we were on our way home and stopped to get gas before heading out of town and our car wouldn't start. Luckily we signed up for a rewards card at Pep Boys and the towing charge was free.
The car...oh...the distributor is gone! totol waste! The whole job is going to cost including labor...$480.00
My poor ailing husband is out in 102 degree heat laying on hot pavement to try and work on the car with no success. So it has been towed to Pep Boys where they will work on it, but we have not one red cent to pay them.
Just please pray for us... we need all the prayers we can get.
Thank to all of you and may your world be blessed.

Kat....I've just now seen this and I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles with the car and of Travis' health. Of course, I'll remember you and Travis in my prayers. Many prayers and blessings for both you and Travis and the rest of your family.
Prayers from here. Hope it works out for you. Know how you feel. I gotta replace the oil pan on my car. Rusted through and is now leaking oil. That is why the area I live in is called the rust belt. Road salt sucks.
Oh my God Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear about that. You know David and I wish nothing but the best for both you and Travis. We love you both so much, and it really hurts us to hear that you guys are having a hard time right now. You both are in our thoughts and wishes right now. I have faith that everything will turn out all right. One way or another things will unfold for you both for the best. Just remember, faith goes a long way. It's the hard times that make us appreciate each and every smile in life. Just be strong, have faith, and watch how life will shape itself around you, to help you out through each hard time.
We love you both so much, and no, we haven't forgotten about you. We still consider you our best friend. :-) We'll be sending out positive energy your way from Florida in hopes that you both will receive everything you need for just another smile.
I'm very sorry to here that Travis is in poor health. Glad to hear that your family and friends could help out with the truck. It's great to have people like that in your life.
I hope that Travis can get some rest now and recover his health. You guys are in my thoughts. I have been worried that you would be affected by the fires out there. I hope that's not the case.
