Some Cemetery Pics

Hey everyone.

I've got a couple of pictures to share with you. I took these around midnight on Monday 11/9/09 at Judd's Cemetery in Cookeville TN. If you would like to comment on them please do.

Just to give you a rundown on the conditions - it was not raining at the time of these photo's but rain was definitely on it's way. It rained later on for the rest of the morning and on into the day. It was cool outside but not cold enough to see your breath. All three of these were taken from my car leaning over the passenger side seat with the window down. In all three photos there is a large tree in the distance off center to the left in the top two and off center right in the bottom. In the bottom one you can see a bit of my rear view in the lower left corner. I used a flash and low light setting on my Kodak digital camera.

I have a few others from the same place that I took outside of the car, and I had a few orbs in the others as well, but these had the most interesting things in them I thought.

Hello..Really like the first pic. I think its pretty cool the way those three orbs are lined up at an almost perfect angle.. Don't know if that's just coincidence??

Hey Hon, could you do me a favor...could you post the originals without enhancing them. I wanted to take them through my photo editing program and see what I can come up with. I see more than just the orbs.

I haven't done any enhancement on them, but did upload them to photobucket then grabbed them from there onto my laptop, then uploaded... I'm switching to my desktop and will post the originals.

Ok coming from my desktop - these are the photos just as they have been dumpped from my digital camera to this hard drive.

Also - as I mentioned above, I did use a High ISO setting on the camera for taking pictures in very dark areas.

I see all the orbs...the blue one is interesting...and several faces as well. I'm especially curious about the 'blob' to the left of the tree in the first pic. I don't see it in the other pics. Any ideas?

I really think the "blob" is the most interesting thing. I had someone else say it looks like a smudge, and I agree, but I took pictures just before, and soon after without it being in those so I don't think its a smudge on the lens.

Do you wipe your lens off after each shot? If not...I feel it would have been on the others as well. It doesn't appear to be a fingerprint...there's no curved lines in it...they appear to be straight. But, I don't have the editing program than some of the others have so, it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

No I don't. It's a small digital camera - by no means a professional tool, but it takes pretty decent pictures when I get the settings right haha.

The first picture the blob as you call it, there seems to be a square shape at the bottom left side of it. On my computer I am seeing a rainbow effect in these lines in the square shape. Interesting photo, and those orbs are pretty good too.

I did take these from inside the car. There is a rear-view mirror which you can see in one of the other pictures - I wonder if that could be causing this somehow. I had noticed the shape before but never thought about the mirror having anything to do with it. The window was rolled down and I leaned over the passengers seat to get the camera very near the window. I'm not sure how the mirror could have done that - but maybe it's possible? I don't know - I really want to believe that that particular thing is genuinely SOMETHING. :)
