I do agree with Kat that it wasn't anything bad -- that much I do know. I mostly don't understand, if I was dreaming or hallucinating, why in the heck I would imagine a little girl in a plaid dress just wanting me to open a door?

Apparition sighting... what does it mean?

I am not normally one who believed in ghosts or that type of thing but the past three years I have had three incidents where I could not explain what happened. I was not under the influence of any drug or alcohol, nor was I under any particular unusual stress. The one I am most curious about happened while I was on vacation in Idaho.

What is odd is that it was like she touched me on the shoulder to wake me up.. .. open my eyes... there she is... then she walks over to the door ... trying to open the door. It was as if she was asking me to help her open the door. It was after she vanished that my mind started trying to figure out what had just happened. I was wide awake... and I saw her. This girl was kind of white-ish... but I could make out the plaid pattern on her dress easily. About a year later (or 3 months ago( I did see an old man in a blue coat .... which was more vidid than the little girl and the first time I saw a apparition in color!

The ghost at Linda's house looked like a real person. It is quite terrifying to wake up and see a strange person in your bedroom. Indeed when it dissapeared and showed itself to be a ghost, I found that to be a releif and I was much less afraid---My heart was still beating hard and fast though.
STILL, that "reality" of it inpressed me the most. The dim lighting in the room defined it just as if it were a real person there.--the right shadows , shading and everything.
