The trees in the park are really just fine, I usually keep them trimmed back so that the cars can drive underneath them. After all...the name of the park is...Shady Lane. My tenants would kill me if I cut them all back! lol Our summers up here get really hot and the shade that these trees provide are great.
The only trees that I ever had problems with are the cottonwoods. They only have a life span of 20 years and then they die off, and that's because the Timber Ants kill them off by eating the inside of the tree.
I don't own the park...I only manage it, all work to be done on the park has to be approve by the owner first. But since the park is up for sale, I don't think she's going to have any major work done on it for some time. But thanks so much for the offer.

It's hard to trim them when I am the only one doing them. I can only get to the hanging branches. There was this one guy that use to cut my trees and he was sooooo good. I sat back in my folding chair and watched this guy perform. His name is "Tree Dog", his hobbies are cliff climbing and sky diving. So cutting trees is a natural art for him. He looked like Tarzan up there on that rope! That's something I could never do...not now since I have a bad back.
I am all the way in California, 40 miles east of Bakersfield, up in the mountains. I got so tired of the city life and moved to the more quiet part of California. I am orginally from San Dimas, Ca. or should I say more towards the Los Angeles area. I've been up here now for 7 years and would never change a thing.
Though I have been all over the United States and every major city out there...retired truck driver.
Maybe one day when your out this way...I can take you out on a investigation with the group.
