Blocking entitiy

I need information on a few subject matters! Ok I am new here so i am going to give you all a quick lil rundown of things. Since i was YOUNG (7 yrs of age was my first expeirience) i am now 33) it seems ghosts have been attracted to me. I've also shown signs of my ESP abilities and empathic abilities, since i was very young. My mother had it all my grandmother had it and my older sister. (only other sibling from my mother). My sister and i have ALWAYS been VERY close and know what one is thinkin or feeling at all times. We just have to reach out a lil and they we are. Very quick run down. lol But now to the main question at hand. The house i live in now, is the first house i have ever lived in that was free of spirits (to my knowledge) nothing has been felt in my house by me until last summer. A house up the street was tore down, completely demolished and leveled out. Within a week of this house being tore down i started seeing flashes of a man walkin into my back porch, catching glimpses of him here and there in my back porch and my kitchen. Well it's been a year now and he is happily resididng in my home. LOL. A name of Eric comes to mind when i think about him or feel him so yes he has been named. He likes to move things around my kitchen. Plays lil games of hide and seak but he's really no bother. and from what i can sense he is a very helpful entity. He likes me i deal with him. Now due to recent events with my sister i have been forced to think back to the days he started appearing in my home. And it has been brought to my attention that shortly after he started makin himself at home in my house, the feelings and reaching out from my sister, or ANYONE while in my home has stopped. My sister just recently went thru some very upsetting things. And a week ago there was a time that she reached for me. screaming and yellin (thru her mind) for me, she needed me desperately!!!! and i never felt her ... didn't hear her didn't feel ANYTHING from her. Now keep in mind normally she can sit at her home 650 miles away and think of me and i here at my home will get the urge to call her. She was in a life or death situation and NEEDED me . reached for me and i felt NOTHING!!!!! She even told me that after callin out for me she actually felt me DENY her! Blocking her screams and ignoring her. Now finally to the main question, Has anyone ever heard of an entity BLOCKING esp feelings? With talking to my sister on the phone and a friend of mine who knows and feels a few things herself we have all come to the conclusion that "Eric" is for some reason feeling the need to protect me from these feelings and blocking whatever he can. Has anyone heard of this... is this possible. Someone please help me if you know anything on the subject!!! Thank you all for your time!!!

I haven't checked back here in awhile!! I want to thank you Susan for your positive words!! I have just recently learned about the cleansing of the chakras..... am workin on it and it seems to be helping ALOT!!! And just to let you know. A new friend over at Angels of light .. has helped me out with "Eric" he has now moved on to where he needs to be!!! Slowly and at MY pace workin on the others!!!

yes talking to them helps and laying the rules down, I have a ghost now that I am dealing with, and listens to everything that I say. He was negative, but now we have an understanding and we are friends. I to an an empath as well. I am dealing with someone from London I have never met. I have had it since I was 4 years old only now it is at an extreme since I have been cleansing. My chakras are purified now, and wow! I woke up with a whole bunch of orbs flying above my bed the other night that I ahd to send into the light.. so .. use yourskills as a positive one, and just talk to them.. you will be amazed how much control you have. Well in talking to my sister i did tell her that i was going to have to sit down and have a talk with "Eric" I've done it a couple times already and i know it's worked. He hears me and understands me. Just haven't had the oppurtunity to sit down and talk with him yet. ALthough i wouldn't mind him blockin SOME of the things i hear and see. I know that pickin and choiceing what is not going to happen. So it's all or nothing. I just didn't know if i was way off in thinkin this or not. Glad to know i'm not the only one with issues and situations like this! LOL Thank you so very much for commenting. And i will be checkin out the link you gave me as soon as i am done responding!!! I have experienced this before in the past and just recently while visiting a haunted location. Though the entity wasn't able to fully take over my mind and body...though it tried. I was able to communicate with him as a form of telepathy.
One can only take control of your mind if you allow it, not placing a field of protection around you when these things occur.
In order to take control of him "Eric" you must lay guidelines to him, letting him know that these things will not be tolerated.
This can be his way of protecting you, and possibly the only way he knows how. But you need to let him know that this is not what you want him to do, and not to interfer.
The reason spirits hang around you is because they know of your capabilities...communication. I sense more are there, but laying low until you are ready to accept them.
My suggestion is...do not allow this spirit to have control of you, you call the shots and not him. Talk to him..he can hear you.
Also place a protection of white light around you, and I would look into wearing a crystal around your neck for protection also.
